In the Lab – 3/12/13

A lot of riders DIY different parts of their bike. With this bike owner, he is particularly focused on the rear rack. This is the second version which made out of aluminum. Notes how the front pair of the wheels where able to “switch” back and forth to avoid the heel kick.

The rear rack is DIY hand made out from aluminum rod. It then got spray paint with the matching orange color.

The front pair of the rear wheels are actually flip-able to avoid heel kicking when riding while keeping the bike in good balance when folded.
